What we collect when you use our website, contact us, or hire us, why, who else sees it, and the choices you have. Remington Pools LLC, which does business as Remington Custom Pools ("Remington," "we," "us"), runs www.remingtoncustompools.com.

Effective November 2, 2026

Information you give us

When you request a free design, you give us your name, phone number, email address, and zip code, plus your project type and the best time to call from the form's menus. If you call, email, or text us, we keep what you send.

If you become a customer, we also collect what we need to design, permit, build, and service your project, such as your property address and details about your yard.

Cookies, Facebook ads, and analytics

Some information is collected automatically when you use the site.

  • The Meta pixel. Our site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It uses cookies and similar technology to record the pages you visit, the buttons you click, and whether you send our form, along with your IP address and browser details. Its cookies hold an ID for your browser and, if you came from a Facebook or Instagram ad, that ad click, and they last up to 90 days.
  • What Meta gets from the form. When you send the form, Meta may also receive your name, email, phone number, zip code, and project type. The contact details are hashed (turned into a code) first, but that does not hide who you are from Meta: Meta uses the code to match your request to your Facebook or Instagram account and to an ad you may have seen. This can come from your browser or from our own server, so it may reach Meta even when the pixel is blocked.
  • Meta and other third parties may use these cookies and this information, collected over time and across different websites, to measure ads and to show you ads, including ours. Meta's use is covered by the Meta Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
  • Ad links. If you arrive by clicking an ad, the link can carry tags that name the ad and campaign. Your browser keeps them until you close the tab, and if you send the form we save them with your request so we know which ads work. A Facebook click ID in the link goes back to Meta with your request.
  • Visit counts. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. It records the pages viewed, the site that sent you, and general details such as your country, device type, and browser. It does not tell us who you are.
  • Hosting and maps. Like any website, our host (Vercel) receives your IP address and browser details when it delivers our pages, and uses them to run and protect the site. Our service-area map loads its map images from OpenFreeMap, which receives the same basic details.

How we use your information

  • To answer your request, contact you about your project, and prepare your design and quote.
  • To send you a confirmation email and other messages about your request or project.
  • To design, permit, build, and service your pool and backyard if you hire us.
  • To learn which ads and pages bring in requests, and to improve our ads and website.
  • To keep the site secure and free of spam, and to keep the warranty, legal, tax, and accounting records we need.

If we ever send you marketing emails, every one will include an easy way to unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

  • Companies that run our tools. Vercel hosts the website and counts visits, Resend delivers our emails, Google stores our request records, and Microsoft and GoDaddy run and screen our email. The contractors who help us run our website and advertising can also see requests. We give each of them only what they need for that work.
  • Meta, for ad measurement and targeting, as described above.
  • The people who help build your project. If you hire us, we share what is needed with our subcontractors and suppliers, with permit offices, and with a lender if you choose to finance.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, our team, or others.
  • If the business changes hands. If Remington is sold or merged, customer records may go to the new owner as part of the sale.

Phone calls

We use the phone number you give us to contact you about your request and your project. Tell us at any time if you would rather we stop, and we will.

Other websites

Our site links to other companies' sites: our lending partners (HFS Financial, Lyon Financial, Viking Capital), the FluiidScapes pool designer, Google, and Facebook. What you give those sites is covered by their own privacy policies, not this one. If you use the FluiidScapes designer from our site, FluiidScapes may send us your design and contact details, and we handle them under this policy. If you apply with a lender, the lender may let us know the outcome so we can plan your project.

Your choices

  • See, correct, or delete your information. Email info@remingtoncustompools.com or call (682) 549-0006. We may need to confirm it is you, and we will answer within 45 days. We may keep records the law requires us to keep, such as signed contracts and tax records. We cannot delete what Meta has already received; Meta's own settings below cover that.
  • Limit Facebook and Instagram ads. In Meta's Accounts Center (opens in a new tab), Ad preferences lets you stop Meta from using activity on partner websites like ours to show you ads, and "Your activity off Meta technologies" lets you see and disconnect what sites like ours have sent. The Digital Advertising Alliance (opens in a new tab) and the Network Advertising Initiative (opens in a new tab) offer opt-out tools for many ad companies. These choices limit how your information is used for ads; they do not stop it from being collected.
  • Block cookies. Blocking cookies in your browser's settings, or using a tracker blocker, stops the pixel on our site, and the site still works. If you send our form, we may still report the request to Meta from our server.
  • Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Our site does not currently change what it collects when your browser sends these signals. Use the options above instead.

How long we keep it

We keep your information until you ask us to delete it. If you hire us, we keep the records we need for your warranty and for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, even after you ask us to delete the rest.

How we protect it

Our site only runs over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We limit who can see your information and take reasonable steps to protect it. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but if a breach ever affects your information we will tell you as the law requires.

Children

Our site is for adults planning a home project. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change would let us use information we already have in a materially different way, we will ask your permission first.
