Remington Custom Pools is owned and operated by Matt & Natalie Rix. We design, engineer, and manage custom pools and outdoor living spaces across Dallas–Fort Worth, and we stand behind every one of them with our own warranty.
Who We Are
You are hiring the owners, not a sales office.
Remington is family-owned and operated by Matt & Natalie Rix, working out of Cresson, Texas, just south-west of Fort Worth. When you call, you reach the people who are accountable for your pool, during the build and long after it.
40+ years in this market has taught us one lesson above all the others: in North Texas, a pool succeeds or fails underground. Our clay soil swells when it rains and shrinks hard in a drought, and that movement is what cracks pools that were not engineered for it. We build gunite and we engineer every structure for how this specific ground behaves. It is not the part of the job anyone photographs, and it is the part that decides whether your pool is still perfect in twenty years.
We are a small operation on purpose. It means the same people see your project from the first sketch to the day you swim, and it means our reputation in these towns is the only marketing that has ever really worked for us.

Plenty of builders imply that one crew does everything. That is not how pool construction works, here or anywhere. Here is how it really goes, and where we fit.
Specialist crews, one point of accountability
A pool is a dozen trades: excavation, steel, gunite, plumbing, electrical, tile, decking, plaster. We use proven specialist crews for each phase and manage the whole schedule ourselves, so you are never the one chasing a subcontractor or refereeing a disagreement. One call comes to us.
Our own warranty behind the finished pool
The pool is covered by our in-house warranty, not just by whoever happened to pour that section. If something needs attention later, you call us and we handle it. That is the whole point of hiring a builder instead of a series of trades.
A real number before you commit
You get a photorealistic 3D design and a line-by-line quote before you sign anything. No vague ranges, no surprise allowances discovered halfway through the dig.
English and Spanish
We work with our clients and our crews in both English and Spanish, which keeps instructions clear on site and keeps details from getting lost between the design and the build.

Yes, and we are straightforward about it. Pool building is specialized trade work, so each phase is done by a crew that does that one thing all day: excavation, steel, gunite, plumbing, electrical, tile, decking, plaster. What matters to you is who is accountable for the result, and that is us. We manage the schedule and back the finished pool with our own warranty.
